Rules
Before Posting on the rp threads in this site(After you've been accepted), you must go to face claim. You also MUST have an icon so we can visualize your character. NO 65 x 65 icons, they look tacky.
1. Have fun; honestly don’t think the forums always are so serious. Role playing isn’t fun if everything is super depressing or dramatic. Do what you feel you want to, as long as it’s not hurting anyone!{dance}
2. Activity is important, please only sign up for what you can handle, and get on a couple times a week. If this is not possible for what ever reason, PM me and we’ll talk. I’m a very understanding person. However, if you disappear for weeks- months at a time, with no notice, you’ll be deleted. Your Character MUST post at least once every five days. If you fail to do so, you WILL be deleted, unless you pm me with your reason or post in the Problems aka AWAY board.
3. Permission. If you're going to do something that needs god modding, you must get permission from the character; you two can then work something out. If I get owls of people that are unhappy because you've done something with out their permission, you can be banned for a little while.
4. Like above... No God modding[Unless allowed by the person]. Let the person control their own character! I know there’s a small instance where it’s acceptable, but understand what I’m saying.{as if}
5. No Mary Sues. No one is perfect, gorgeous and flawless. No one is perfect, do not make the person you’re rping!
6. Okay, this is going to be an ADVANCED role playing site, so all posts are to be in third person, unless they’re thinking something, example : Hermione moved swiftly through the trees, she swore Harry and Ron were around here. ‘Where can you two be…?’ Your posts also must be fairly long; I’m not taking seven paragraphs long (unless you want to do that, and its fine.) I’m talking at least TWO full paragraphs each time, I know however we get stuck some times, so I won’t complain if once and a while it’s only one paragraph. {no one}
Spell check your work…AND pick a font color, that no one else has [Check master claims if in doubt]. Check the font thread, to personalize it if some one is using the color you may add a glow, or shadow. Make sure it's also visable on the site.
7. Graphics. I am really a huge fan of them, it's not hard to search around on the web and find at LEAST a 100x100 icon of your character. Signatures are great as well, but DO NOT makes them stretch the page. 600 X 200 is a good length and MAXIMUM length for width. Please don’t make them too tall either. If you need any help with Graphics, go to the graphics section. Your signature must be centered. Sorry guys, I'm a little OCD. Also, No Anime, cartoon. They must BE real life people.
7. Swearing is fine.
8. C-box… Be polite in it if it’s OOC. If it’s IC and you’re playing around that’s fine. {is}
9. In the C-box please format your name like so Example: Hermione Granger[Your First Name]. If you want to add your name, you can, but please make it so it’s your first and/or last character name. Capitalize as well.
10. I know I’ve already sort of mentioned this but... If you are going away for more then 4 days, please tell us in the problems board. If you have failed to give us notice, and are away for more then six days, you are subject to be replaced, especially if you are a canon character. [And like i said, you will be replaced if you fail to post in six days.]
11. If you start a character application once you've created a character, you will have two days to delete it. If you fail to do so, you're gone.
12. Respect the admin and the administrator team. If you do not agree with the rules or something on the site, you can leave. We are not changing our site and we will NOT deal with your nuts. I cannot stress this enough, if you have a problem, LEAVE. {watching}
